EML’s initiative in setting up an Amateur Astronomical Society in Lesotho
EML is planning a launch of the first Lesotho’s Astronomical Society, where all interested amateur astronomers in Lesotho would be given lectures on Naked Eye astronomical Observations of the night Sky, where people would gathered with their small telescopes and binoculars to view the beauty of southern Constellations as well as organization of several Star Parties that would sometimes be done jointly with the Free State Bloemfontein Boyden Observatory Friends.
The Club is to be called Lesotho Astros and to be first launched in dedication of the Communicating Astronomy with the Public 2011 China (CAP2011) late September 2011
