EML and IYC2011
EML is secretariat of UNESCO's Capacity Building of Maths and Science teachers at secondary Level in Lesotho 2011-2015, and as part of the project is networking schools around the country to participate in the Intenational Year of Chemistry 2011's Global experiment in water purification: participating Schools are to be in Butha-Buthe, Maseru and Mohale's Hoek ,the pilot districts of the project. Mr. Xingwana and Mr. Kompi are the suppervisors of this project in Lesotho.........
EML and DST SET Week 2011
This year is International Year of Chemistry and EML in collaboration with UNESCO's Teacher Capacity Building will be assisting the Department of Science and Technology in the 2011's Science, Engineering and Technology Week on the Theme of Water for IYC2011. Mr. Kompi and Mr. Xingwana will present about the Global Experiments of Water Purification under its Capacity building Programme of Thaka-Khoali SciClub Networks. EML and LSTMTA National Science Fairs 2011
EML and Lesotho Science and Mathematics Teachers Association (LSMTA) are both partners at the UNESCO Capacity Building of Maths and Science teachers and so EML will introduce the Thakakhoali SciClub Network as a contribution to the IYC2011 Water treatment experiments and the technique of implimenting conducive environment for Learner-Centred approach to take place; which is the best method to deliver new IGCSE Physical Science 5104. EML is joining LSMTA on the National fairs to be at Thaba-Taseka district , Paray High School. ICTs in Secondary Maths and Science Education 2011 -2015
EML as the secretariat of Capacity building Programme has conducted Phase 01 of the IT teacher training workshops in Butha-Buthe, Mohale's Hoek and Maseru between April and June 2011. During these workshops, teachers were made aware of how ICT could widen their skills of delivering the new IGCSE syllabus, the use of the internet as the research base for both the learners and teachers through the use of animations and online quizes. Mr. Xingwana lead the Animation presentations while Mr. Kompi introducted the topology of Internet and the Mobile Connects. Schools are therefore advised to purchase departmental portable IT devices: Laptop computer, Projector and Projector Screen and a contract USB internet modem....... contact us for further infomation and the next phase of the project.

EML is the designer of the UNESCO Capacity Building Project 2011's Logo shown on the Left, the logo wa pioneered by Mr. kompi Lebohang, Managing Director of EML: the minddle has the molecule with a free atom to collide at the background, that is pour science of Biology and Chemistry, the Physics's popular equation of Energy by Albert Einstein with whom the Organization of EML is named after, while the x squired and pie over two are the unique mathematical constants and variables best described by the Project chair person Dr. Molisana Molisana as unique numbers and variables in mathematical history.......
